What is RF microneedling?RF microneedling (radiofrequency microneedling), is a minimally invasive treatment, traditionally used in clinics, that rejuvenates your skin by stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin. This advanced technology combines the precise microneedling with targeted radiofrequency energy, to create micro-injuries beneath the skin’s surface. This boosts collagen and elastin production, revealing smoother, firmer skin. This all-in-one solution addresses wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, and uneven tone and texture. With regular use, microneedling with radiofrequency can deliver transformative results, revealing a youthful glow.https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/3097/7858/files/Model.png?v=1731933066Maximise RF microneedling benefitsRadio Frequency is a leading in-clinic treatment for skin-tightening. Our RF Device gently heats the skin to 43°C for powerful collagen renewal, giving you visibly tighter, firmer skin. To complement this, our microneedling patches plump the skin, reduce fine lines and improve skin texture on the forehead, under eyes and crow’s feet. Infused with hyaluronic acid, these anti-wrinkle patches provide an instant boost of hydration, for a more youthful complexion. For best results, use the microneedling patches as a pre-treatment. Wear them for up to 2 hours or overnight for deeper hydration. After removing, follow with your RF Device treatment to enhance absorption and allow radio frequency energy to work deeper, delivering firmer, smoother and more radiant skin.https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/3097/7858/files/RF_Microneedling.png?v=1731933110How do I use the RF Microneedling Treatment?

1. Clean and dry your skin.2. Remove the patch from the transparent film. Avoid touching the microneedles.3. Position the patches over the target area.4. Gently press down on the patches for 3-5 seconds to assist microneedle penetration.5. Do not rub. Leave the patch on for 2+ hours. For best results, leave it on overnight. Discard after use.**6. **Remove all jewellery from the treatment area, before applying a liberal layer of gel to clean, dry skin.7. Plug in the mains power cable, and turn on your device. Select your energy level and then touch the device to your skin.8. Once the green light starts blinking, move the device slowly over your treatment area.9. After 5 minutes, the light will turn orange signalling that it’s time to move onto the next area.10. Rinse away any excess gel and continue with your skincare regimen.*Our microneedling patches are designed for flexible wear, including overnight use. Please note that extended wear can make the adhesive more secure, which may require a little extra care during removal.

What are the benefits of radiofrequency microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling stimulates collagen and elastin production to improve skin firmness, texture, and tone while reducing fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation.

Is there any specific RF microneedling aftercare guidance?

After RF microneedling, keep the skin clean, moisturized, and protected with SPF 30+ to prevent irritation and sun damage. Avoid harsh skincare products, excessive heat, and strenuous activities for 48 hours to support optimal healing

How often should I do the treatment?

Perform the treatment once a week for 8 weeks, then it can be topped up every 4 to 8 weeks to maintain long-term results.

Does RF microneedling hurt?

No, the patches are pain-free and designed to be safe and gentle on the skin. The micro-needles are minimally invasive and made from dissolvable ingredients that gradually absorb into the skin, leaving no residue or discomfort.

Are the patches single-use?

Yes, they are designed for single use only to ensure maximum efficacy and hygiene.

Can I use use the patches anywhere on my face?

The Eye Microneedling Patches can also be used for the nasolabial folds – the versatile shape means they are not limited to the eyes.

How many patches are in a pack?

There is 1 x Microneedling Patch per packet.

RF microneedling vs microneedling – what’s the difference?

Microneedling uses tiny needles to boost collagen and improve skin texture, while RF Microneedling adds radiofrequency energy to tighten skin and treat deeper concerns like wrinkles and sagging for faster, more dramatic results

Does at-home radio frequency cause fat loss?

No, the CurrentBody Skin RF Device will not cause fat loss in the face. Here’s why:

It doesn’t heat deep enough. Fat reduction requires heating the deeper layers of tissue to around 45°C for several minutes. This device is designed to reach a maximum of 43°C on the skin’s surface, which is both safe and comfortable.

It targets the skin, not fat. The device works within the dermis, the middle layer of your skin, to support skin rejuvenation. It does not reach the deeper fat layers where fat loss would occur.

It focuses on skin tightening. The gentle heat stimulates fibroblasts to boost collagen production, helping to firm and lift the skin. It is not designed to damage or shrink fat cells.

In short, this device helps improve skin texture and tone without affecting facial fat.
